LONDON FASHION WEEK: DAY 3

Dress (worn as top): French Connection
Skirt: Topshop
Tights: George
Shoes: ASOS
Bag: Ebay

We designated the tickets we had for day three of LFW to the magazine's contributing writers so my co-fashion editor and I could shoot for the second edition of the magazine at Somerset House. The concept was brilliant and our models were incredible - at one point our poor photographer was actually pushed out of the area we were shooting as the girls were surrounded by photographers wanting them for street style bits!

It was an amazing shoot and a brilliant day and those who follow me on instagram (I'm @SarahRoseGoes) will have been able to see a sneak peek of some of the looks.

Today's been very laid back and lovely as my first show is at 5.30 so I've been able to relax and type up show reports - whilst preparing questions for my interview with the legend that is Pam Hogg this evening. I'm also off to an after party which will undoubtedly be brilliant.

Are you at LFW today? I can't believe it's all over tomorrow :( it's been so wonderful!

LONDON FASHION WEEK: DAY 2 - Antipodium and One's to Watch

Top: All Saints
Dress (worn as skirt): Topshop
Boots: All Saints
Bag: Cambridge Satchel Co at ASOS

I spent the majority of today at Vauxhaull Fashion Scout watching the One's to Watch show featuring Charlotte Simpson, Hana Cha, Hellen Van Rees and Ming Pin Tien, Antipodium on Mercer Street and Ashley Isham at Goldsmiths Hall.

I was on the front row for both One's to Watch (where their gift bags were an absolute god send. Coconut Water, Berrocca, Compeed Plasters and BB cream amongst numerous other bits are basically LFW's first aid kit)and Antipodium. For the Antipodium show it was wonderful but terribly odd as I was sat next to the Fashion Editor and Assistant at a magazine I interned at earlier on in the year. They were both lovely and friendly but it resulted in the guy next to me asking lots of questions about what I did etc. Pretty awkward when you're sat amongst key fashion editors and your simply representing your university paper. However the Gin and Ginger drinks we were given in the courtyard enabled me to relax a lot more and thoroughly enjoy the most SPECTACULAR SHOW. With a futuristic fembot, hi-tech perfection and construction as the inspiration it was just incredible.

SO wonderful. My favourite show of the day. Charlotte Simpson was a VERY close second. Her collection is so chic and simplistic - and the colours which are base upon the human gustatory system, were utterly beautiful.

I was lucky enough to interview all of the Ones to Watch designers backstage which was such great experience. I'll post a link to my interview it when it's uploaded :) What's been your favourite show of the S/S 13 season so far?

LONDON FASHION WEEK: DAY 1

Day 1 of London Fashion Week commenced with my first ever professional street style photo. Despite having photos of myself on this blog, I actually hate having my photo taken and get really nervous and embarrassed. I was hidden out of the way when I was approached by two impeccably dressed ladies from Stylist magazine who photographed me and uploaded me onto their website. It's definitely not the best photo I've ever see of myself BUT it's terribly exciting nonetheless.

As I mentioned previously I'm reporting from LFW on another blog It's been so much fun. I attended Caroline Charles and Carlotta Actis Barone shows which were both phenomenal.
Caroline Charles

Carlotta Actis Barone

Both collections were extremely interesting and inspiring - read more here - what do you think?

VOGUE'S FASHION NIGHT OUT: GIFT BAGS - VOGUE, MULBERRY AND JUICY COUTURE

VOGUE:
To acquire a VOGUE gift bag you had to purchase the Vogue's Fashion Night Out T-Shirt which was £18 and a magazine. I being a very poor student selected Glamour ensuring that my spend was capped at £20 - although I was so, so tempted with various Conde Nast French Magazines...

Within the gift bag was: a beautifully packaged Hummingbird Bakery Cupcake (which didn't keep until I was able to photograph this), Benefit POREfessional PRO balm, September's VOGUE, a Dorothy Perkins purse, Percy & Reed Texturising Spray, Kiehl's Ultra Facial Moisturizer, Nails Inc - Bruton Mews and Lush Eyeshaddow - Wise.

I have googled the RRP for all the item's included in the bag and what I purchased in order to receive the bag:
Tshirt: £18.00
Glamour: £2.00
Cupcake: £2.00
POREfessional: £23.50
VOGUE: £4.10
Purse: £6.00
Texturising Spray: £14.00
Nails Inc: £11.00
Eyeshaddow: £12-14.00
Total: £92.60

Definitely worth the £20 investment as I received over £70 worth of products :)

Mulberry:

Nail Rock Wraps: £6.99
Hotel Chocolat FNO bar
La Prairie Skin Caviar: £304

Juicy Couture

If you attended FNO what did you get in your gift bag? :)

VOGUE'S FASHION NIGHT OUT: MULBERRY

Once we'd finished at Juicy Couture, we headed to Mulberry (after a quick trip to the Fenwick Ladies Powder Room). Now this stop was considerably more me than the last - I absolutely love Mulberry and am sadly still dreaming of the day I'm able to afford one of their glorious and iconic bags.

After queuing for an eternity and surviving utterly horrendous rib squashing conditions Stacey, Alex and I made it into the store: I can't actually convey through words how much of an achievement this felt at the time. We were greeted by their gorgeous collection, including the limited edition FNO collection...

as well as J.Sheekey's Oyster Bar.
Stacey very sneakily videoed Alex and I sampling our first ever Oysters...please excuse my high pitched voice, I blame the copious amount of free cocktails:
We had a wonderful time playing about in the snapshot photo booth...

and were given the most wonderful gift bags, which included a beautiful booklet filled with the photos we'd had taken. It was a wonderful night and I hope I can attend next year if I'm not off travelling :) It was so lovely to catch up with Stace - who very kindly let me steal a few of her photos :)
Did you attend Vogue's Fashion Night Out? If so, where did you go and what did you think?
