What to wear to a spring wedding:

Wedding season is officially on us and next weekend I'll be attending my first wedding - eek! I was quite overwhelmed with finding the perfect dress to wear to a spring wedding and thought I'd share an edit of the best styles I found along the way...

Floral

Not only do they add a bit of colour to a possibly overcast day, a floral style flatters all shapes and size. You can go bold and busy or, minimal and ditsy. With a plethora of fits available across the high street whether you're looking to splurge on a style or after a pretty but penny friendly option there's plenty to pick from...

 Stripes

Stripes are a great option for weddings as there's a style for everyone, whether you're after a bold, pretty or graphic there's something for everyone.

 Lace:

A classic style for Spring, a lace dress makes a sweet, but subtle statement. I'll always be lusting after Self Portrait's Azaelea style.

Shoulder shower:

If you dare to bare this summer do so with a pastel or printed dress, balancing out the shoulder-showing style by opting for a midi or maxi length. The off-the-shoulder trend is hugeeee this summer (you can shop my off-shoulder top edit here) and I'd recommend embracing it wholeheartedly.

Evening guest: 

You may not have been invited to the whole do, but don't fret this actually gives you a freedom to wear a glitzier piece. Topshop have so many incredible metallic styles at the moment, but if you're feeling really daring pick a tuxedo dress and head straight to the dance floor.
