Metallic moments:

Top, Topshop (similar here); Trousers, Zara (similar here and here);
Metallic Loafers, New Look (similar here, here and here); Cloud bag, The Cambridge Satchel Co

It's been a week since we returned from the dreamiest holiday to Turkey and I'm missing being in the sun so, so much.

I had the best time celebrating Tyler's brothers wedding (#HappilyEverOverton) and wearing the nicest, brightest summer clothes that I've was ever so reluctant to get back into my plain work wear. So much so that I've been adding metallic accents into and onto my usual looks in order to make me feel a little bit more summery - which given this miserable rain is very, much needed.

Whilst this outfit does feel distinctively 'Nanna on a cruise-esque' - possibly due to the metallic top and overall neutral tones, mixed with white tapered trousers, I quite like it. It's an office-friendly take on spring's very popular metallic's trend.

Summer shimmers and shines are a glossy way to update wardrobe staples with either a show-stopping or subtle sparkle. Whilst neutral gold and silver toned metallics are low(er)-key options don't be afraid to make a statement with either a punchy pleated skirt or a pair of sleek silver aviators.

Shop my favourite new season metallic styles...

Clockwise from left: Silver block heel shoes, £39.99, New Look; Pleated wrap dress, £49, Topshop; Metallic dress, £29.99, H&M; Belted mini push lock bag, £80, The Cambridge Satchel Co;
Metallic pleated culottes, £32, Topshop; Silver trainers, £19.99, H&M; Metallic Jig mary-janes, £69, Topshop

  2. It is a bit high end, and this outfit has a cool and relaxed feeling, which is great. If you add a audemars piguet replica as jewelry, it will be more perfect
