The scalloped swimwear edit:

I had a little pre-holiday melt down a few weeks ago (as those of you who follow me on twitter will have seen) and nearly purchased a £220 Marysia bikini... definitely one of the most irrational moments of my life.

The most instagrammed style of last summer, Marysia has become synonymous with scalloped swimwear. Whilst her styles are great if you have a very generous budget to work with, the high street has thankfully followed suit with incredible purse friendly bikini and swimsuit options from everywhere from Boden to New Look.

I wore my trusty penny friendly H&M scalloped style everywhere from the beach to the pool on my recent trip to Turkey and smugly sat poolside with a cheeky gin and tonic while thinking about the £195.02 I'd saved.
Clockwise from top left: Scallop top, £14.99, and bottoms, £9.99, both H&M; Swimsuit, £32, Topshop; Sacha top, £15, and bottoms, £14, both Accessorize; Long Island bikini set, £190, Heidi Klein; High neck top, £12.99, and bottoms, £7.99 both New Look; Pink bikini top, £29.50 now £25.08, and pink bottoms, £26.50 now £22.53 both Boden; Cropped set, £18, Boohoo; High neck swimsuit, £32, Rochelle Humes at Very.co.uk; Purple bandeau set, £18, Boohoo; Scallop swimsuit, £59.50 now £50.08, Boden
