I've been searching for the perfect 'my lips but better' lipstick and accidentally stumbled across this one on my lunch break last week. I absolutely love, love, love it! I religiously watch Tanya Burr's youtube video's and in her vlogs she has the most perfectly natural lipstick/gloss on I just felt compelled to find one which made my lips look half as pretty.
On the website it's described as a 'metallic golden orange' which I don't personally think is a very accurate description, as it's much more of a pink shade than an orange one when applied. Although it does appear to be an almost coral shade in the product photo above, it doesn't apply to mine or my sister's lips in a remotely orange shade and instead enhances our natural, almost muted pink, lip colouring. The lipstick is enriched with ultra shine oil and Shu Uemura's signature hybrid pigment enabling a smooth and vibrant shine to be achieved whilst remained understated.
Shu Uemura is quickly becoming one of my absolute favourite high end brands I've been religiously using one of their cleansing oils after recieving a sample and it's literally marvellous! I also absolutely love their packaging, it's so alternative and fresh in comparison to my MAC and Chanel lipsticks which look so dark and boring in my glossybox storage box.
Do you use Shu Uemura products? If so which would you recommend? Or which products would you consider using?
