The chevron co-ord

Chevron print shirt and trousers, £85, Topshop; Master Boots, £85, Topshop

I challenged myself to embrace the 70s trend full on with this chevron style from Toppers, it's not something I'd typically go for but I surprised myself by actually really liking the print and tailoring - especially when worn together.

I especially liked that the matchy-matchy style wasn't too girly, ordinarily co-ord's are exclusively available in super girly crop top and matching skirt format which is fine if you're 15 but not so cute when you're nearing 25.

Super easy to style either together or separately, this burnt-orange and black chevron print is really flattering, providing the illusion of longer and thinner legs - something always very welcome! I teamed this twinset with my new favourite Toppers boots as the platforms I'd have otherwise styled it with are still at home, home.
