Trending: Retro romantics

Shirt, Zara; Jeans, Pull & Bear

First off, HUGE apologies for the brief break in my usually pretty regular posts. The last couple of weeks have been so beyond mad I've not been able to dress myself nicely let alone plan anything pretty for SRG. On Friday I finished my year's maternity cover at YOU magazine as Fashion Coordinator and spent my final two weeks manically prepping for, compiling and finalising our accessories special which was a lot of fun but totally mad.

I'm now quite literally a free woman and am currently in the process of embracing the fun new challenges of freelance life (which I have to say is just as mad...) I'm hoping that this will enable me to spend a little more time on my little blog, as I really enjoy writing and putting pieces together for it :) I've got lots of ideas and can't wait to share them with y'all.

Excluding my little Primark excursion I've not actually purchased anything properly for a little while, so I (of course) used my new venture as an excuse to make a small, celebratory purchase. It's super sweet, and reminds me of both my Grandma's tea towels and Kim K's 2013 met-ball dress at the same time which, for me, is a win.

I've been wearing mine tucked into my favourite high waisted jeans with a pair of trusty loveworn Vans and love how retro they look when teamed together.

Shop a few of my favourite floaty, romantic floral tops below...
Clockwise from top left: Off-shoulder sheer top, Asos; Floral tee, Asos; Smuge floral shirt, Y.A.S; Cold shoulder ruffle top, Asos; Floral shirt, Only Eleanor; Ditsy floral shirt, Asos
